- Information you provide. Your name, email, phone, mailing details, and the case information you enter during eligibility intake (such as charges, dates, court, and disposition) to prepare your petition.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by our third-party processor, LawPay/AffiniPay. We do not collect or store your full card number on our servers; LawPay processes payment details under its own privacy and security practices.
- Automatically collected data. Device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and interactions, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
How we use information
- To determine eligibility and prepare your record-sealing or expungement petition and instructions.
- To provide attorney review of your prepared materials.
- To process payments and provide customer support.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to measure marketing performance.
- To comply with legal and professional obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads tags to understand traffic and measure advertising. These tools set cookies and may collect usage and device data. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide the Services: with service providers who help us operate (for example, hosting, email, payment processing, and analytics providers, such as Vercel, Microsoft 365, Resend, LawPay/AffiniPay, and Google), and when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal and professional-responsibility obligations (including record-keeping rules applicable to attorneys), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion as described below, subject to those obligations.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and professional-responsibility limits.
- You may opt out of analytics/advertising cookies as described above.
- Massachusetts residents: we handle personal information consistent with applicable Massachusetts law, including the Commonwealth's data-security and breach-notification requirements (M.G.L. c. 93H).
Children
